SUCCESS STORIES

“My life was at a standstill for 5 years or so, and I never thought that I would ever need a therapist or a life coach. As I did not realize how my general well being would end up in such disarray. Depressed, overweight, undernourished, and lack of exercise all led me to a very dark time. It affected all aspects of my life. Somehow, I understood that past trauma and emotional imbalances have ways of showing up as various symptoms in the mind and body.
One day I heard a podcast with Sean. He was talking about childhood trauma and the effects on adult life. What Sean was discussing resonated with me. So I immediately reached out. I began to connect that my imbalances, within my health and wellbeing, were leading to self-abuse, pain, suffering and a disassociation with life force (my soul).
After my initial conversation with Sean, I knew that what he was suggesting was a path for me to improve my overall lifestyle, mental state and health. I was surprised how quickly Sean determined what my deeply, rooted issues were. What began was an intense, holistic journey with Sean.
Although the path included conventional interventions, such as counseling, diet, exercise, and supplement plans, Sean also introduced me to medicines outside of the mainstream. This led us into shamanistic realms of self-discovery.
The results have been amazing. My life path has been amended in such positive and healthy ways. I am greatly surprised for my new found health and wellness. I am also very grateful to Sean. For his wisdom and powerfully timed words that he has imparted on me throughout my journey with him.
Sean's uniqueness is found in how open he is, his ability to listen and connect, his high level of empathy and his depth in understanding.
He, too, has taken a courageous path, himself, and has allowed him to 'become the medicine'.
The toughest aspect for me was to actually gather enough courage to drop my resistance and create change. Which took daily discipline. Sean had a profound effect on that. Which has helped me, my family, and catalyzed the healing within my mind, body & spirit.
I recommend Sean and his services to people who ask me about my transformation. At the same time, I am grateful for having him as part of my continued journey through life.
There are few people today who are gifted like Sean, and more importantly, who have the courage to actually undertake the path themselves.”

“I’ve been in therapy on and off since before I can remember. But, something about this space was different. I walked into Sean’s office a little under a year ago, thinking that I knew exactly what I needed to do and focus on. Now I just needed the right professional. Jeeze, was in for a rude awakening. That being said, I cannot say enough positives about the time and energy that Sean puts into his work.
I come from a science-based background in my own career, and the approach of functional medicine seemed ‘wishy washy’ to me. Sean wasn’t pushy about his practice, instead gradually opened my eyes to not only a different approach, but an approach that I didn’t even know I was personally yearning for. One of my biggest scares with seeing Sean was that he was male; I had only ever worked with women. I suffer from a chronic condition that at times leaves me in mass amounts of pain, however is also specific to women. Yet again, Sean never made me feel uncomfortable discussing areas of my life that this issue effects. I deeply appreciate his approach in treating the mind, body and soul as one unit, and our bodies as simply a conduit of our lives.
I will not say that this has been easy. Some of my sessions have allowed me to personally tap into the pain that you only feel deep inside once you learn to connect with yourself. I, like many, had avoided this for years. Sean has not only been along for my ride, he has empathetically been on my journey with me. In the last ten months, with Sean’s help, I have been able to sort through some of my deep seeded childhood traumas, identify my own personal shortcomings, accept that there isn’t just a one size fits all approach to healing, and recognized that not only ‘hurt people, hurt people,’ but that also, ‘healed people, heal people’ [Sean’s mantra].
For me personally, the soul’s journey is very personal, complicated, and at times constricting. I searched for months to find the right person to connect with and work with as I started to unpeel the layers of my pain, and I am eternally grateful that this person is Sean. I wholeheartedly believe that his work is soulful, honest, and most importantly to me, authentic.
